Course Description: Global Art Explorers
Art Around the World for Elementary students (Grades 2nd – 5th)
Instructor: Lindsey Whitney
In this hands-on art class, students will explore art from cultures around the world while developing their own artistic skills. Through engaging, project-based lessons, your young artists will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques inspired by traditional crafts and cultural art forms from different regions!
During this 8-week course, students will complete several art projects that highlight how geography, environment, and cultural beliefs influence the art people create. Each lesson combines creativity with cultural discovery, helping students understand the stories and traditions behind different artistic styles.
Students will leave the class with a collection of unique artwork and a deeper appreciation for how art connects people and cultures across the globe.
Each class includes a snack break, snacks provided.

Price:
$260 for 8 weeks. $200 for 8 week course and $60 for art materials

Meet the Instructor: Lindsey Whitney
Lindsey Whitney is one of the owners of The Homeschool Supply Co, and is a 2nd generation homeschooler herself! She is so grateful for the beautiful foundation her mom gave her though home education. She hopes to do the same for her bunch of busy boys-she has 4, including a set of twins. After a 10 year career as a self employed sign language interpreter, for the past 10 years she has been a full time wife, homemaker, mother and teacher. Lindsey still interprets on Sunday mornings, serving in the Deaf ministry at their church. She enjoys slow start homeschool mornings, nature study and spending time with her family, including two sisters who also homeschool.
